How to get started - literally what to do first after you've read all the books

So, I've been a small-time dabbler in witchy stuff for a bit, but this year I decided it's time to commit and go all in. Something is really moving me toward this path, and I think it's time to listen.

I know I'll be going a semi eclectic route, and I'm most drawn to candle magic and tarot. Something about them feels *right* if you know what I mean. I've read quite a few books now, and I have an idea of the tools I'll want to work with.

My big thing now is - what do I do first?? Should I make my altar first, or cleanse the house to make sure the energy is good? Does one have to cleanse every bit of the altar, or just what you're working with at any given time?

Also, my space is fairly small, so I know I'd have to store my things away in between performing craft. I know this may be a silly question, but is tupperware not super great for this? Should I be looking for more natural storage equipment?

Any guidance would be excellent.
