Is witcher 1 worth playing if you spoiled it for yourself?

basically in my hurry to read all the books and play the previous games before launch i decided to skip witcher 1, and just read through it instead on the wiki such. Now i have decided to not rush, and play the game whenever i'm done reading/playing the other stuff, to get the best possible experience. Is the witcher 1 worth playing even if you know the ending and everything? Also will a witcher 1 savefileenhance the playing of witcher 2? And will it at all affect witcher 3?
