Is the Witcher 2 worth playing?

I am a big fan of the Witcher universe, I have played the Witcher 3, and am currently going for a 100% play through right now. I have read the first three Witcher novels with the intention of reading the rest. I’ve seen the Netflix series and the Netflix Anime film (despite my disliking of the genre of anime). So that being said, it’s clear that if the gameplay is half decent, I’d have no problem playing that as I care mostly about the story. I’d even consider playing the first game as well if it were on console but it’s only in PC which I don’t have. So for those who have played the second game, is it worth my while?
