The Order of the Arcane Shield requests help against the Black Mages of Thrakmoor

Greetings, dear Colleagues.

My name is Orestas Torrean, head of the Order of the Arcane Shield. My disciples and I are preparing our orders keep for defense against the armies of Thrakmoor. If you too are willing to resist these conquering marauders, you are invited to join our ranks and help defend our fortress. A few words about the orders purpose: Many wizards just practice their craft without any regard towards the consequences of their actions for the common folk in this realm. We have made it our task to protect those, who can't protect themselves and prosecute those, who pose a threat to the people of the realm. The Thrakmerian invasion fallsinto both of those categories. The Order of the Arcane Shield specialises in abjuration, though there are many colleagues who work in other fields of our craft. I am asking those who share my aversion against Thrakmoore to - at least temporarily - join our ranks and fend them off.

/uw Anyone willing to join me may add an affiliation with the Order of the Arcane Shield (OAS) to their flair. Who does that may add a defense mechanism for the orders fortress in the comments below. I will manage the keep in [a different post](https://www.reddit.com/r/wizardposting/comments/1tghf0c/defending_the_keep_of_the_order_of_the_arcane/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), that will be created below. These defense mechanism will play a role in the keeps defense when attacked by u/The_Enchanted_Potato in two weeks. Looking forward to your ideas. Please put your ideas for defenses in spoilers so Thrakmoor can't see them. To keep it fair, only mechanisms proposed by wizards who are affiliated with the order will be added. We can't just let any outsider meddle with the orders home.
