Attack on Thrakmoor Outpost
The Highland Moors, Hellex
Three hours before sunrise.

BeefNoodle, newest magus of the Crooked Tower waited patiently for the coordinated strike on one of the Thrakmoor outposts. As Grabadash needed to coordinate with other forces as well as deal with the sudden increase in pirates that threatened Duskwater, it fell on him to lead this strike force.
Interfering and threatening the information network of the Loremaster had exposed the operations of these Thrakmoor forces enough to be tracked down. BeefNoodle himself had been part of the squad that confirmed the intel, so he knew this would be more than reconnaissance.
This time he wouldn’t be forced to flee. His graduation from apprentice came with some hefty benefits: access to some new powerful spells, a personal artifact, and a mana enhancement ritual.
As time went by, it was time for the scheduled check in from the other squad members. A shadow emerged and perched on his arm.
“Any moves by the enemy?” BeefNoodle asked before continuing, “Remember to maintain extra distance between yourself and the outpost and only use mundane tools and sensory enhancement magic. Can’t risk setting off anti-scrying wards and compromising our operation”
The raven made of shadow paused for second before relaying the response.
“No signs of activity here. Any news on when this Artificer’s device will activate? Or how they are delivering it?”
BeefNoodle checked the mirror fragment that had arrived earlier via Homunculi mail.
“No word from our ally yet. Hold for a bit longer, I’d rather not be caught up in whatever damage it may cause. i believe they said watch for when the walls stop \*flowing\*, whatever that means.”
BeefNoodle did another quick check through his equipment, making sure everything was in place. Hopefully their ally in this joint strike would manage their part of the plan, otherwise he would have to risk losing more apprentices.
—— /uw first proper interactive post from me! while the Thrakmoor main invasion hasn’t happened yet, some minor skirmishes could be fun if both sides get to respond to things. So just a reminder to narrate what your characters do rather than what happens to others and to have fun. I’ll ping people.
