Recommend woodworking “bible”

Am a hobbyist/carpenter and looking for good book recommendations (not websites) that would have good in depth stuff on different kind of woods and their best use and specific points (e bends a little but sands well, hard, nice grain ). Also things such as bests staining techniques for each wood. I see a lot of questions on this sub regarding this or that wood and how to handle and would love a good fat book written by some masters. Not so much looking for techniques but more species specific
