Wood movement mistake

So I’m working an a dresser to build up my skills. One design I really liked had wenge edges. Since I began the project I learned a lot more about how wood moves in response to temperature and humidity … and sure enough, the wenge edge that doesn’t match the grain of the too is failing.

So what can I do? I guess I could round off that edge with a router, though that will not match the other edges.
