Curious what people think about Marmota Woodworks?

For those who watch YouTube woodworkers I’m just curious what people think about this guy. He seems to break just about every conventional idea most of us follow as woodworkers. For example he builds entire table tops out of end grain, crosses grain regularly, and uses some pretty unusual designs concepts with a lot of end grain slices, etc. He seems like a nice guy and his pieces are really creative. But I just can’t get over how unconventional it is sometimes, and curious what others think.
