Starting an in-home daycare

Hello! I'm due in April with my first plus I'm going to be a single parent. I've worked in daycare centers for most of my adult life but recently had to quit due to just, not wanting to take my child there. Arguments with other staff and overall poor work conditions. And now as my due date approaches, I'm dreading going to work after she's here.

I currently have 2 jobs, I do early intervention for 0-3yr olds and after school for kindergarten. I'm looking into all them laws and regulations I need to start my own in home center. I own my mobile, and I have a handful of kids I babysit that already go to in-home daycares but they hate it and change his daycare every like 3 months but I've been babysitting for over 2yrs for them now.

I'm not sure if this is a good investment tho. Like I just want to stay home with my babies and then get kids to take care of the kids I know already I know I'll have to most likely open my home to other kids as well. I'm just very nervous about the entire process

Does anyone have advice on starting this? I live in California so I need to abide by those rules. If I didn't I would just take a few kids and stay home with my own kid but I need to do the legal thing and get the license
