Just as an example, snake + cow = cake. Cakes are two-legged creatures with thick, leatherlike skin that they shed periodically. This skin is often used for many of the same purposes that leather is, only a bit easier to produce. Cake milk can be drinked safely, but frequent consumption of cake meat will cause the consumer to start shedding their own skin as well.
