Question about a second character and general musings.

I played WoW from launch until I think Cataclysm and came back for the first month of whatever expansion DHs were introduced and then a few years ago started playing classic from launch up until about two months ago. Life got in the way so I was unable to commit to a specific raid time and didn’t have the time to get on after work (10-11pmish), form a pug and then run the raid so I put the game down for a bit. As a classic player, everyone always badmouthed retail but I decided to give it a go because I heard it’s a lot easier to just pop on and do something than classic is. Boy, was everyone wrong about retail. I must have forgotten how much fun this game could be because I am having so much fun with this game right now.

Anyway, I started playing Retail about two weeks ago and just hit KSM on my WW Monk and was looking for a good class to make as an alt. I really like the play style of monk but want to try out a different class with a somewhat similar play style. I’m not opposed to tanking but I’m a little concerned with healing. Any suggestions?
