Is this common for Blizzard Support Bots?

Yesterday morning around 7:22am on April 25th I got an email from Blizzard saying that my WOW account was permanently closed for violation of terms of use with no detail of exactly what the violation was other than a link to the terms of use. What has me really confused is despite the email saying that the action will not be overturned now 20 hours later, April 26th at 3:36am, my World of Warcraft account is still active. Is it common for Blizzard support Bots to send false messages when an account is being permanently closed due to a terms of use violation yet the account is never closed?
