Realm character screen blacked out?

I was in progress of a +6 DFC key on the 2nd boss, and suddenly I got frozed out thinking, oh a random disconnect, I'll just log right back in but saw a message about all Oceanic realms being down for Emergency - but the weird thing is, shouldn't affect me since I play on Uldaman.

I see all my friends / guildies are still on and they aren't affected.
