This bank is currently unavailable

Hi there,

I’m encountering an issue with one of my characters following today’s 11.2 patch.

Shortly after the servers came back online, I performed a faction transfer for my character Elorielle on Moon Guard (from Horde to Alliance). After the transfer completed, I attempted to access her personal bank, but was met with a blank window and the message: “This bank is currently unavailable” displayed in the center.

I’ve tested the personal bank on several other characters across my account, and it’s functioning normally for all of them—so this issue appears to be isolated to Elorielle.

I’m unsure if this is related specifically to the faction transfer occurring immediately after the patch went live, or if it’s tied to the new bank UI changes introduced in 11.2. Either way, I wanted to report the issue in case it’s affecting others or tied to recent updates.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

EDIT:

As an additional note, I noticed that all my other characters received the new bank tab achievement when logging in after patch 11.2, but Elorielle—who underwent a faction change immediately after the patch—did not.

This makes me wonder if the faction change occurred before the character-specific bank updates could be properly applied. Perhaps her bank data wasn’t initialized correctly due to the order of operations.

I know I can’t see what’s happening on the backend, but I wanted to share in case this helps with diagnosis or is affecting others. Thank you so much for your time!

(when attempting to deposit an item I receive the error: “This character does not have access to this bank.”)

**UPDATE** The bank got fixed. I guess, if you have this issue, just give it a day or two.
