Please tell me this starts becoming fun??

Sup guys,

So I decided to download WoW for the heathstone promotion. Before now I've actually always wanted to try WoW (Big MMO fan but never did play WoW for some reason) so this seemed like the perfect time to kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

I am now a lvl8 Blood Elf and holy shit, I am dying of tedious boredom! There is absolutely nothing to do but fetch quests! And for the life of me, I cannot figure out where the main quest line is.

Now I know fetch quests are a part of MMO's. Period. But man, this is pushing it. My favourite MMO at the moment is FF14 ARR, and there are fetch quests are all over, but some are actually quite enjoyable!

Sorry if this sounds like a bit of a rant, but because WoW is the most popular MMO out there I am really trying to enjoy it. I seriously want to sub if it really becomes fun! Right now though, I am just running everywhere with no sprint feature or mount :/.

When do dungeons become available and when does the gear grind start? That is the part I love about MMO's. I just run dungeons and farm for gear.
