What are the fewest pets possible I need to complete the Falconsaur quest lines?

I have several 100s and used my stones on all four Falconsaurs, an Iron Starlette, Molten Corgi, and a Cheetah Cub (it was my first one, ok). Have come to find that some of these Pet Battle WQs are rather challenging, and I started a bit too late to power level all of the usual suspects during the last week. Am I out of luck, or is it possible to do enough WQs with just these pets to finish the Falconsaur quests and get to the Nighthold step?
