Legion profession quests

I recently boosted my DK who had enchanting as a profession but I can't start the quest to go beyond 700 enchanting. The trainer simply won't give me the quest. I have opened a ticket but it is going to take a while for a GM to get back to me it seems. So in the meantime, has anyone else encountered this? Is it a bug with boosted characters or is there another prerequisite that I've overlooked. My Warlock and DH both got their prof quests just fine.
