The world server crashed and my research cost me nothing. Help!

I was clicking on tier two of the travel network when the world server crashed. After struggling to log on again, I saw it was being researched but no anima or souls have been expended. I have tried to report it to customer service but it won't let me. I madea bug report in game and on the bug forum. What should I do now? I don't want to be banned. :(
