Perspective changes.

General enquiry: In previously written books I have switched character perspectives, say at the start of a new chapter. However, the current book I am writing, I change perspectives whenever it feels right(organic?). As such both characters often share chapters, and one or two chapters have multiple changes. For example: one of my chapters has five pages as one character, then four pages my other MC, then five more pages as the first character again. Is there such a thing as doing this too often? Is it a writing faux pas, or taboo? Etc. Any friendly opinions/advice are appreciated.

Edit: just to be clear, when switching perspectives, I always start a new page with the characters name as the header.
