Smirk, Grin, Lips Turn Up Alternatives?

I’m writing a contemporary romance. I am finding myself write that a character “smirks” or “grins” or “the corner of his lips turns up” quite frequently. The hero is a happy, affable, teasing kind of guy, especially when bantering with the heroine.

Are there alternatives that I’m missing to show playful happiness in banter?
