Information for writing professional journals

I’ve recently started writing journals for a programme and want to improve my writing.

My struggle mostly :

1. writing in a professional tone without making everything sound fancy

2.Avoiding “I” and “we” when documenting events.

3.Including personal reflections while keeping the journal objective.

4. Knowing when to use simple language versus formal language.

For those who write reports, journals, or articles, what are some writing techniques or resources that helped you improve?
