Got my X4 today - First impression

Got my X4 very late night. Finally I can hold it in my hand. Everything feels great. X4 has the perfect size as I always want.

Pic 2-3: found a faux leather sleeve for Rhodia note and I repurpose it for the X4’s sleeve.

Pic 4-5-6: using MagBak enhanced magnetic case (iphone 13 pro max) I can only stick them with strong magnetic power with the position as pic 4-5. I don’t install any external magnetic rings at all.

Pic 7: quick comparison on the sizes of all devices I have. From left to right: x4, iphone 13 pro max, hisense a7cc eink android phone, kindle PW (6inch 6th gen - circa 2013), kindle scribe 2nd gen (2024).

Quick tip: for macOS user, when you format new micro sd card, make sure you format with master boot record (MBR) so x4 can see your card. I was having issue of “no micro sd card” until I figured out.

Haven’t had time to play with fonts or XTC yet so so far going with default font and it has decent display of epub. I will have another post to share experience with converting the font or epub later.
