Who prefers the stock firmware?

With measures being taken to prevent third-party firmware, I’m curious if anyone prefers the stock firmware and why?

Maybe I’m trying to make myself feel better. Maybe I’m looking for a reason to not check the return policy. In any case, I’m actually curious since I hear so little discussion about it.
