Can’t find Shiro (cat) in Y6

I tried looking up for help on how to find it and have also spent around 1-2 hours trying to find him with no luck. Any ideas as to why this is happening or what I can do besides what has already been said? I’m currently in the Finale right before returning to Kamurocho
