SB120 LR Potential Suspension Swaps

I have an SB120 LR. It’s truly a sick bike. I didn’t know bikes could be THIS good.

I’m exploring some ideas, though.

I have the Lunch Ride C2 build in medium. The frame size plus the piggyback Super Deluxe Ultimate leaves me at a smaller water bottle than ideal. So I’m considering going to a no-piggyback shock to try to gain a little more room for a water bottle or some food storage or…whatever. I have no idea what that would feel like so I’m just exploring the ideas for now.

Has anyone tried a Deluxe in place of the Super Deluxe? How did the feel change?

How does the Deluxe Ultimate compare to a Fox Factory Float? Is there a significant change in going from SDU/Pike Ultimate to Float Factory/34 (or 36…I’m intending to get last year’s models) and if so what is that feel change like?

Anyone ever gone all Ohlins on their SB120? Any advice on the tune for that?

Lots of questions, I know! Just wanted to put ‘em out there while I’m scheming on this whole thing!
