Block all videos from a content creator?

I have blocked and hidden as many Blippi videos as I can on both YouTube and YouTube kids and I still get recommendations for him channel and videos. I am not sure what else is can do to not have this content recommended on a YouTube kids account. Is the block feature just a joke?
