Anyone find a way to have a home feed without watch history on?

Since about 4 months ago, YouTube changed it so that you don't have a home feed if you have no watch history. There's a workaround where you can turn it on, watch a video to create a history, then turn it off again to get a feed, but that's device specific and temporary at best.

So I wondered if anyone has found a way to have a home feed since then?

I don't want a watch history, but I do want a home feed that's informed by my likes and subscriptions.

I pay for YouTube premium, so it feels pretty dumb to have no feed.
