Massive Change to Youtube search on March 4th??
I feel like I'm in the movie "Yesterday" and I woke up, and suddenly, no one knows who the Beatles are or what I'm talking about.
For a long time you used to be able to search and find videos based on the content contained in the video. But yesterday around noon that full stopped. Did they just make this massive change and no one is aware of it or talking about it?
You can still search and find videos if your search query matches something in the title, author name, description, or hashtags. But before yesterday (hmm funny now that I used that movie as a point) you could search and pull video results if someone simply said or showed in the video something that matches your search term.
Basically, AI would make detailed analysis of everything said and contained inside the video (I'm sure they are still doing this), and that data was actually searchable on the platform. But now it's gone and it's been 24hrs. Is this permanent? If it is, this is a massive youtube take away, extremely cutting down its usefulness.
