What the hell are they doing to the Home Page on Roku?

It's an absolute misery to find anything.

The first row used to be an infinite scroll of recommended videos. Now it's 2 videos.

The second row used to be an infinite scroll of a recently viewed category. Now it's full episodes of TV shows older than I am.

The third row is now Shorts.

The 4th row is really fucking depressing Top News

Then it's back to Recommendations, 2 per line scrolling down, uncategorized, and usually poorly done.

It's absolute trash. I don't want to watch 40 year old Unsolved Mysteries, and I'm never going to watch a TV series on YouTube. I'm never going to watch vertical video and Shorts, either.

All Youtube is doing is making it much harder to find what I actually pay Premium to see without ads and trying to force down my throat the stuff it hopes I want to see but I have repeatedly ignored because I have no interest.

Google enshittification is well established, but Jesus, making it hard to find something to watch is just going to get me to cancel the Premium subscription I barely wanted. My wife and I watch more YouTube than anything else, but it's become as miserable to find something to watch as Netflix is, and we stopped paying for that years ago due to how stupid discovery was.
