In 2018 Judge Linda Jennings of Lucas County Ohio paroled convicted murderer Nathaniel Cook. Cook was paroled after serving only 20 years. He assisted in at least 6 serial-stalking, SA murders with his brother Anthony Cook. Nathaniel also plead guilty to committing at least 3 of the murders himself.

The Cook Brothers are suspected of being responsible for the murder of 15 year old **Mark DiStefano**. A cold case that has haunted me since hearing GHI cover it a few months ago. In May of 1980 Mark was walking home late one night from a party he was supposed to spend the night at. His parents had recently given him a new puppy and he was worried the pup would be anxious on it's first night without him. He was abducted and murdered before making it home, his body was found along the road.

The crime fits the Cook brother's MO of cruising around for victims to rob and murder late at night around the Toledo suburbs. Descriptions also match their vehicle and the timeframe matches their serial murder/SA spree.
