[TP] [OoT] Does Twilight Princess feel like a reimagination of Ocarina of Time?

So I haven't played Twilight Princess in a good amount of years, and sadly never had a chance to really beat it. Going through the game itself though, I'm feeling a lot of that same approach that Ocarina of Time took, and obviously that seems pretty base, considering the reuse of locations, theming, and general story beats. However, it did get me thinking if the developers intended it to be a sort of reimagining of the original game. Obviously with the developing tech, we've seen Hyrule over the years, and many locations being introduced and explored, but the direction that Twilight Princess takes makes me think, from a development perspective, that this goes deeper. I might be reaching too much, but I want to see what other people think on this.
