Take out a horde.

You find yourself in the following locations: A large city, an abandoned highway and the middle of a forest and encounter a horde (between 1k and 2k zombies) and have to take them out. How would you do it? Each location will have its natural advantages (lots of unique resources in a city, lots of gas on the highway, trees to drop in a forest.)

Which location would be impossible to clear and for which could you take out a super horde (10 times as many zombies.)

Yes. You get some prep time before you are spotted. No you do not have enough ammo to take more than a couple dozen out.
